Post-Christmas Wrap-up

The gifts have been exchanged, the visiting family and friends have left and it's time for me to return back to work tomorrow after a wonderfully relaxing week off. Today, I thought I'd reflect on the 5 favorite presents I gave this year and share some photos from Christmas with my family.

5. And lastly, a shimmery, polka dot dress for my new baby niece, Mila

Best parts of a Very Patel Christmas 2011:

2. Baking and decorating sugar cookies
3. A rousing game of Taboo; and
4. Lots of wine and laughter!

Spotted, Hunted and Found

When I saw the Los Angeles offices of WhoWhatWear founders, Katherine Power and Hillary Kerr on {The Coveteur}, I immediately fell in love with this tufted dove gray chair in Hillary's office, vowing to find it at any cost (okay, so not any cost, but a lot of cost). Well, guess what friends? I found it, and better yet, it's now on sale! {The Wharton Dining Chair}, as it is known, is currently marked down at the {Jayson Home} Sale from $695 to $399.  Excuse me while I engage in some retail chair therapy.
