Girl Crush - {Emerson Fry}

After living in New York City for ten years, designer Emerson Fry and her husband Ryan picked up their belongings and moved to the most adorable farmhouse in New Hampshire to start their clothing and accessories company, Emersonmade.

Her clothes are preppy classics with a very feminine twist. I'm especially in love with the scalloped skirt and this polka dot blouse!

A little holiday lace

With the holiday season officially upon us, it's time to start thinking about what to wear to all those parties. First up, my holiday office party. Since I work at a law firm, I try to stay on the conservative side (without being boring) and {this lovely little number} paired with a pencil skirt is right up my alley. I adore the lace details and open back! Now if only associate bonuses were based on hours spent thinking about what to wear to work.

As of one of favorite T.V. characters, Tom Haverford from Parks & Rec, says, you should take a day to "Treat Yo'self." I've expanded this concept to the holiday season. First, I'm treating myself to {these earrings}.

Global Textiles: Moroccan Wedding Blanket

A Moroccan wedding blanket, also known as a handira, is a hand-sewn blanket made for a bride before her wedding, usually by a member of her family. Once the wool is loomed, thousands of little mirrors are then sewn by hand onto the wool. It's definitely on my list should I ever find myself in Morocco!

It's finally here - my first post and I couldn't be more excited! As a brief intro -  my name is Toral and I'm a corporate attorney in New York.
