New York --> San Francisco

I'm off to San Francisco to visit my girlfriends from UCLA for the weekend!  SF is one of my favorite cities (and Jessica and Melissa are some of my favorite people) so when I say I can't wait, I mean I'm counting down the seconds until my flight.*

Happy weekend!

*You must wonder how I get any lawyer work done.

A Dress for Everyone

It's rare that Anthropologie produces a single dress in different colors and prints, so imagine my surprise when I saw this adorable dropwaist dress in a print/color to suit almost anyone. Seriously, you need to get it - with its long sleeves, open back and the addition of a skinny belt (to minimize the schoolmarm factor), it might be the perfect transition dress from this mild Winter to Spring.

{Available here: 1, 2,3,4,5}

Happy Tuesday!

The candy-coated perfection that is the Mulberry Spring/Summer 2012 campaign puts me in such a shiny happy mood at the start of this abbreviated work week.

Stam's Place

First, apologies for the lack of posts lately. I've had lots going on and just haven't had any time to dedicate to Sequin Habit. But, I'm back now and will try my hardest to post regularly!

Today, I thought I'd share the New York digs of model extraordinaire Jessica Stam - I especially love the lavender and muted green wallpaper, not to mention those accents (that Indian door is calling my name for sure).

Happy weekend all!

The Long and Short of It

I've fallen for the asymmetrical ruffled hemline on this gorgeous {Gryphon dress}. It reminds me of this Spring 2012 Jason Wu dress.

Mixed Media

Happy Monday all!  I hope your weekends were lovely!

Mine was spent catching up with some very special girlfriends. On Sunday, my dear friend Bella and I hit up the {Brooklyn Flea}.  I love the style of Brooklyn girls - they're uber creative and aren't afraid to mix it up, literally.  I think mixing prints works if the colors are relatively similar.
What do you think?
Disclaimer - none of the above are Brooklyn girls. It's bitterly cold in New York, and anything worthy of being photographed was hidden under a parka.

Ahh, Friday.

What a pretty set up for a evening garden party!
Happy weekend, all!
